Celebrated our children´s birthday parties and so many other great memories. Sandra always had time to befriend anyone. A great friend, loving, and a good to the bone kind of woman. I was in elementary school and junior high school with Sandra in San Marcos. I recall Sandra´s joyful, fun personality. I always so enjoyed being around her. My heartfelt condolences are sent to her husband, children, grandchildren and friends.

I grew up in San Marcos in elementary and junior high school with Sandra. Because our last (maiden) names were very similar, ( Dowden and Dawson) we would sometimes be "mistakenly called" by teachers and others which was often a source of humor. I remember Sandra´s joyful, always upbeat personality. She was always fun to be around. My heartfelt condolences to her husband, children, grandchildren and friends in her passing.
