Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Elkin taught my English class in middle school. She was a hard worker and a kind person. She took time to help everyone. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you find peace in this time. All the best.

I remember a quote she had on the wall that I'll never forget,
"The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good to do nothing."

You know you've got a great teacher when their passion for the subject and for knowledge is passed on to the students. I never liked writing until the seventh grade.

She will be sorely missed.

she will be missed... i was happy to have her as a teacher... she kept class fun everyday... RIP.

Sandy will be missed by the students, parents and teachers of Georgetown. She left a lasting impression on all of us.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Sandy's loved ones. She was a dear person. Peg Stanley (retired G'town teacher)

I had the pleasure of teaching with Sandy at GMHS for several years! I looked forward to the time in 7th grade when she would have the students swing dancing in her classroom! I will sincerely miss her and am so sorry for your loss!

I went to graduate school with Sandy. I am so sorry for your loss. I will miss her deeply. She was an inspiration to me during my years of teaching at Georgetown High school.

Our sincere condolences to your family, my daughter and I will always be grateful for having known her. A true angel!
