The last time I saw Sandi, she was at the memorial service for a friend of ours from high school. She was taking some time between her jobs to come and support the family and friends of another, even when she was feeling so crummy and was working so hard and being treated for her illness. What an amazing woman she was. I wish I could have been at her service to honor and support her family. I don't remember, in the past 36 years, ever seeing her without a smile on her face. I have such fond memories of Sandra and Wednesday night church at First Baptist. Our parents were finalizing our adoptions in the same court room on the same day . I was born December 6th and she the 8th and we laughed at the thought that she could have been a Stringer and I a Farris.
