The funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Sandra will begin at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 17th, at Nativity of Our Lord Parish (St. Anthony Church) in Spring Valley, with Rev. Scott Potthoff officiating.  Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Thursday morning, at the church, from 9:30 AM until time of funeral services.

The Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley, is honored to be assisting Sandra’s family.

Celebrating her life is her family: Son, Tim (Kathy) and Grandson's Mike and Matt (Rachel) and Great Grandchildren Madison, Jericho, Sasha, Trustin, and Trey; Son, Jim (Sue) and Grandsons Rhodes (Amy), and Grant (Sam); Daughter, Holly and Granddaughter Morgan and Grandson Stone; Son, Joe and Grandson Drake and Sister, Sally Helton.

Sandra converted to Catholicism in 1954 and was a devoted woman of faith. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church, now Nativity of Our Lord Parish. She thrived raising her 5 children and all the activity that entails, and enjoyed making memories with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Sandra was an accomplished business woman. She ran Garland Construction with Darwin. As a couple, they enjoyed vacationing all over the world. Over the years, she was active in many church and civic organizations. She was lucky to have the friendship of and enjoyed many fun times with Mary Jo, Mary Claire, Joanne, Carol, Eleanor, Angie, Joe, Bernie and beloved nieces, Kathy and Leslie.
