Not sure what to say?

Wow, once again I see names from my childhood thanks to Sandy's legacy. I haven't been on here for sometime but something just popped up in my inbox, thankfully. I think of Sandy often and the days of our childhood which have a very special place in my heart. The hot, hot, Bakersfield summers where we ran barefooted to each others homes, shade spot to shade spot. Trips to the Union Plunge..
and Sandy had the best doll bunkbeds for which I always had a lot of envy:). The trip she made to...

I am now just finding out about Sandy. I was hoping to see her again when I came down to visit. Sharon Hall Hoffman is the only one I know there now. She and Carla and I hung out together and it was a long walk to her house from mine through the orange orchard. Sandy held a very soft spot in my heart. She was always up beat and fun to be around. I am so sorry. Pam Tucker Ginney

I just saw this today as I was looking for another person,Like Janis,Carla and Terry and so many others, I have known Sandy since first starting school at Edison. I saw her from time to time through the years. she was a wonderful person, and will be missed. We have all drifted away from each other through out our lives, but we never forget. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Carolyn "Sue" (Upshaw) Kizer Bakersfield,Ca

So sorry to hear of Sandys passing. I like Janis and Carla attended Edison School starting in Kindergarden with Sandy and then working at the Fire department with her son Scott. Was always nice to see Sandy at the fire department Christmas party for the kids with her grandchildren. Alice and I send our love to Scott and Stacy. Terry Johnson

Many, many great memories at Edison and on Palomino Dr. with Sandy. She living at one end and me at the other. She was my very best childhood friend. I saw her last about 5 years ago and she was the same sweet, fun loving Sandy. I'm so sorry for your loss,my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Hearing of Sandy's passing, after the initial saddness, has caused us, Lisa Fenley & Kathy Ralls, to think back of the "Good ole days" of Bakersfield Luggage & Leather. There are sooo many memories-phone calls back & forth, "Friendly" Christmas sales competitions....& more...Florida luggage Convention, Sandy's lost luggage!! Bettie, Ginny, Daryl,Pat & other staff members that helped make it all work she loved them all. Mostly, it is Sandy's love of her famly & all the people she met &...
