Not sure what to say?

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

It with a heavy heart I read today that Dr. Gladding passed away. She saved my life in August 2007. I came in for an emergency appendectomy and was in bad shape. She asked me if she could pray for me and of course I said yes and that meant the world to me. Later, a day or so after surgery I had an episode where a code went out and she was somewhere in the hospital and rushed right to me and as they wheeled me to the ICU she never let go of the place in my neck she was holding to keep me...

Kim and family. I am so very sorry that you have lost your Sandy. We cherish the time you were at Faith United Methodist Church in Grand Rapids. That was a very special time for our family as well as our church family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Julia Orefice

My heartfelt prayers are with Pastor Kim and his family. I was wondered to know Sandy Gladding. One memory I have of her is how she encouraged me to go back to school and finish my degree. I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2016 and I dedicated my degree to Sandy and Pastor Kim for all of the encouragement they gave me.

Truly one of the greatest trauma surgeons I have ever known. What a beautiful life and legacy.

I am so sorry for your loss Kim. I never met Sandy but she saved my nephews life when nobody else could figure out what was wrong with him. She was an amazing compassionate woman. My sympathy to you.

My sincere and deepest sympathies to you, Kim and Sandy´s daughters, It´s been a long time but I treasure your condolences when Chuck died. Love and prayers to you and your family

I worked with Sandy at Blodgett Hospital. A truly amazing person and surgeon. We were sad when she left Grand Rapids for AZ. In the last 5-7 years, I found out that my massage therapist also was very good friends with Sandy. She was always talked about as a truly beautiful soul! I´m happy that Sandy is no longer in pain! My heartfelt condolences to Kim and to her daughters and extended family.

I worked with Sandy @ Blodgett when she was a resident & then an attending & I was an anesthetist. In the 40 years I've been a CRNA I 've yet to meet a surgeon who took the time to truly get to know her patients as she did. I missed her kindness, skill & friendship when she left Michigan. I never forgot how she helped me @ the end of a busy day with an infected c-section incision & when she offered her daughter's baby sitting services so I could attend the X-mas party. She made the medical...
