I have wonderful memories of your mom and dad from when I was growing up. My mother Dr Gaye Shepard my brother Mark Shepard and I send our condolences.

Sandra was an amazing person . I had the pleasure of seeing Willie Nelson with her and my parents three times! She was a great friend of my late dad Milt . She was very smart , very funny , and took a great interest in people . She will be missed . May her memory be a blessing for all of the lives she touched and may she rest in peace.

We are heartbroken over the passing of our dear friend Sandra. She was a force of nature, and an important part of our Glimmerglass Opera group. Sandra and John visited us in NYC often and we loved our time together. We will so miss her wicked sense of humor, intellect and warmth. Michael and I send our deepest condolences to her entire family and hope you find peace and solace in each other and your memories of her.

I´m so sad to hear of Dean Handler´s passing. She was a wonderful Dean. She was always looking for ways to help faculty learn more, be curious and find ways to connect with students. I always liked to talk with her when I could. She was also really fun and funny. Love to all her friends and family.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

She encouraged the heart in all projects, from Multicultural Infusion to my developing a cross-department class for our health professional immigrant students in ESL. She creatively conceived of the course idea. She was...

My sympathy to Rebecca and Daniel on the loss of your mom, and condolences to the entire extended family. Sandra was my Dean at CCSF for many years. She was always engaging, witty, sometimes mischievous, and always easy to talk to. I remember that she always had a passion project in process, and was a devoted educator with a sincere commitment to our students. May her memory be a blessing.
