        Sandra L. “Topaz” Krause

              Age 62 of DeKalb, IL, died on Wednesday November 11, 2021, in the Kishwaukee Hospital E.R. She was born on October 2, 1959, in Cicero, IL, and was the daughter of Raymond and Lorraine (Pissak) Sumka.

              Sandra was a loving homemaker for many years. She graduated from Morton East High School in Cicero, and then earned her Bachelor of Education Degree from Northern Illinois University. She was a member of Christ the Teacher University Parish in DeKalb.

              Survivors include: mother: Lorraine Sumka of Cicero, sons: Philip David Krause and Russell Krause both of DeKalb, and sister: Donna (David) Jones of Riverside. She was preceded in death by: her father: Raymond, husband: Kurt, and daughter: Julie.

              Funeral Mass will be held on Friday November 19, 2021, at 10:30am at Christ the Teacher University Parish in DeKalb with Father Robert Gonnella officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday November 19, 2021, from 9:30am till the time of the funeral mass at the church. Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice, IL, on Saturday November 20, 2021, at 11:00am.
