Sandra N. "Sandy" Luther

Sep. 13, 1943 - March 5, 2017 Sandra " "Sandy" N. Luther, 73, of Hoover, Alabama, passed away March 5, 2017. Sandy is preceded in death by her husband, George J. Luther, Jr.; and three brothers, Michael Berkowitz, Louis Berkowitz, and Jerry Berkowitz. She is survived by her daughter, Michele McCay (Jim); 2 sons, Michael Luther (Meredith) and Mark Luther; and 4 grandchildren, Matthew and Jason McCay and Sam and Emmi Luther. Private services and burial will be held for the immediate family. Memorial donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Dr., Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923 or scleroderma.org. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses in Brookwood Medical Center's SICU, the doctors and technicians at FMC Shelby Dialysis, as well as family and friends for their prayers and support in Sandy's final days.
