I met Sandra at Edgefield doing pottery. I admired her wonderful creations and came to I met Sandra in Edgefield doing pottery. I admired her beautiful work. She was smart, funny and fun to be with. Her love of cats and her eclectic talents were amazing. Most impressive of all, was her love and care of her beloved mother. Sandra put her first. One of a kind! I met Sandra at Piedmont Tech in Edgefield. We were both there for pottery. I liked her immediately! How could I not? Her laughter was contagious, her wit undeniably " weird", but in the best possible way. For a long time, after the pottery school closed, she and I and Wilma Becker met once a month and had lunch somewhere downtown in Aiken. Boy, the crazy stories that we shared ( most of the craziest were from Sandra). She was a special person and friend. I would call her and stop by from...

I wish I had known Sandra. I do know her wonderful brother,Danford. We would have gotten along great because I have and love kitties, too. Sounds like the world was a better place with her here and she will indeed be missed. Sorry we will all suffer this loss. Sending my love.
