Sandra "Sandy" Nelson

I knew Sandy at ITD, for over 22 years. She came and found me in the lab on 9/11 and got me to watch what was happening on TV. Really appreciated her coming and finding me. She was always so upbeat and positive! Loved the cute customs she made for Halloween for herself (Chipmunk and others). She was very good at putting ideas together!! She was always sweet and kind to others. Will miss her smiling face.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Sandy's passing. Sandy was a bubble of sweetness and always had a positive outlook. I will miss her smiles, laughter and warm friendship. We worked together at ITD in the Maintenance Section. I worked with Sandy up until she retired from ITD, many happy memories and even some heartfelt chats. She was the sweetest, kindest person. My condolences for her family and will keep her in my heart and prayers.

I´m going to miss this firecracker of a woman. She never met a stranger. I love her like family.

The world is a smaller place... what a whirlwind behind a smile...
