Sandra Lynn Nettelman

NETTELMAN, Sandra Lynn - Passed away at her home February 3, 2005 surrounded by her husband and kids after a courageous battle with cancer. A native of San Francisco and 35 year Novato resident. Sandra was 60 years old. She retired after many years with the Novato Unified School District working as a library clerk. Sandra was in the graduating class of 1961 at Balboa High School in San Francisco. She volunteered with Helping Hands of Our Lady of Loretto and participated in Novato Arts and Crafts for 30 years. Her favorite things included trips to Maui, Hawaii, to the cabin in Lake County, gardening, reading and especially playing with her grandkids. Sandra leaves her loving husband of 40 years Richard Nettelman; daughter Leanne Chesser (Doug); son Rich Nettelman (Krystie); her two grandchildren Tyler and Jake Nettelman; sisters, Claire Barsanti (Harry) and Lillian Peluffo (Albis), her brother-in-law Edward Nettelman (Olga), many nieces and nephews and her faithful dog, Honey. Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, February 7, 2005 from 4-9pm with a Vigil Service at 7pm at Keaton's Redwood Chapel, 1801 Novato Blvd., Novato. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 8th at 10:30am at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, 1806 Novato Blvd. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Park, also in Novato.
