Not sure what to say?

Willie and Sandra (and family): I have been meaning to touch base with you to see how you are doing. I also want to thank you for allowing me the honor of writing the poem for Sandra's program. I was thinking a week or so ago about my association with Sandra at Holy Ghost years ago. She was just lovely! Further, I had the opportunity of seeing her in action in the classroom--phenomenal teacher!! When her mother passed away years back, I stopped in her classroom and gave her a little...

Mrs. Palmer was a big part of my family for many years. She was like an aunt to me. I am saddened to no end with her untimely departure. I love and miss her already. May God bless and keep the family.

May God Bless you as you blessed the children of New Orleans with your knowledge & love. I'm grateful to have worked with you through the years.

To Willie Palmer, Jr. and family members, my heart aches with you. Sandra, my classmate and friend, "absent from the body, present with the Lord" - All is Well.

I had the opportunity to work with Samdra. She was a wonderful teacher and I enjoyed working with her . Sandra you will be missed!

Thanks for all that you did for our children, Ms. Palmer. May Allah rest your soul..remembering you when we worked together at Rosenwald.....

Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. We will miss our classmate but rejoice in knowing that we will reunite where there will be no more sorrow or tears. May the family and friends of this noble and nurturing woman of God find comfort in His arms during this period of bereavement.

To the family of Sandra Palmer, my prayers are with you in this time of grief.

Good bye good friend and classmate. Elementary thru high school, time flies! One of many GOOD people I've met in life. Thanks for passing thru! Class of '74
