My dear friend, Sandra, alas our plant to meet at the end of July were not meant to be. Thank you for your friendship of of 25 years. Farewell and rent in perfect peace.

My sympathies to the family.

There are many words and phrases that could be used to describe Sandra. Here are some that come to mind when I think about her: Artist (and this was an essential part of who she was regardless of what she was doing); Librarian; Networker; Connector; Community Builder; Advocate; Voice for the Voiceless; Youth Developer; Role Model; Leader; Talent Scout; People Lover; Walking Internet of Information; Teacher; Historian and Preservationist.

My deepest sympathies. I last had a long talk with her in April and was looking forward to seeing her this summer. She was a dear friend and colleague.
