I remember the first time I met you Aunt Sandy! I think I was 11 or 12 and I was staying with Janine and Uncle Joe on one of my dad's furloughs. I remember thinking how beautiful you were! And then you made some delicious southern meal and I thought, I may never leave..... ; ) I have such great memories of our family gatherings and that will help ease the pain.
