I'm a firm believer when I think of person, they're thinking of me. When I visited Sandy in rehab, I acquired a door knob from the Book Center I had gotten and asked her what it was. Sandy started that wonderful giggle of hers. I recently found it and immediately thought of her. Sandy's been gone 3 years and I continue to miss her...

I met Sandy while working in CCC West Bk Ctr. She came in knocking things over & I thought here comes trouble... Sandy asked for help to find greeting cards & that's when we became fast friends. I'd say here comes Trouble & she would giggle! Watching her bowl several times I was always amazed how well she did. She gave me origami items she'd made from books I'd given her. Eventually I gave them to my sister, a teacher's aide who showed her handicap students that they too could achieve what...

So sorry to hear about Sandy's passing. We will miss her beautiful origami stars gifts which she would bring us all when we changed her many many watch batteries, her jokes, her compassion all of which made her so endearing.

I am so in shock right now, as I am just now reading this and had no idea! The last I had heard a while back I thought Sandy was doing better and people were hopeful that she would be able to return home soon. This is so sad! I knew Sandy since the second grade when we both went to Forest Elementary together in Parma, Ohio. I have so many fond memories of that school, teachers and all my friends that I knew there, Sandy being one of them. We also went to Highbrook Lodge Camp together where...

My deepest condolences to the family. Dandy was a real gem to know and be with. She was strong, brave, and roll model to all of us who struggle in life.
