Sandra Jane Sallee was a very special person! Spending time talking with her was a joy! She loved animals! My passion is photography and I am thankful to have many lovely images of Sandra. One image that I have of her is not preserved any other way than in my mind. I dropped in to the Paws Cat Shelter in West Linn one day as I often do and didn't expect to see Sandra sitting just inside the door feeding a new born kitten. She was dedicated, serious and, committed to helping little ones...

If I had to choose one word to describe Sandy, it would be selfless. She was all about others. Her family, her students and her friends. I am so blessed to have known her for over 30 years both as a dear friend and colleague. A very caring, compassionate, and loyal friend. She touched the lives of so many children during her years as a teacher and counselor. How lucky to have been a student in her classroom! Sandy loved animals and it was so much a part of who she was. She devoted many years...

I'm saddened to hear of Sandy's passing. She was kind, funny, a good friend, a good dancer, sensitive, delightful, and talented. When we held a garage sale at my house for Linda Springstead, Sandy came and did displays to "wow" the merchandise, and did things look great when she was done. Sandy was an amazing teacher, mentor and friend. I am so fortunate to have known her and to learn from her. She made teaching fun for us all. I will miss her dearly. My condolences to her family and friends.
