Sandra Jane Sallee was a very special person! Spending time talking with her was a joy! She loved animals! My passion is photography and I am thankful to have many lovely images of Sandra. One image that I have of her is not preserved any other way than in my mind. I dropped in to the Paws Cat Shelter in West Linn one day as I often do and didn't expect to see Sandra sitting just inside the door feeding a new born kitten. She was dedicated, serious and, committed to helping little ones...

If I had to choose one word to describe Sandy, it would be selfless. She was all about others. Her family, her students and her friends. I am so blessed to have known her for over 30 years both as a dear friend and colleague. A very caring, compassionate, and loyal friend. She touched the lives of so many children during her years as a teacher and counselor. How lucky to have been a student in her classroom! Sandy loved animals and it was so much a part of who she was. She devoted many years...

I'm saddened to hear of Sandy's passing. She was kind, funny, a good friend, a good dancer, sensitive, delightful, and talented. When we held a garage sale at my house for Linda Springstead, Sandy came and did displays to "wow" the merchandise, and did things look great when she was done. Will miss her terribly - may she rest in peace. ~ Diane Goodwin

Sandy was an amazing teacher, mentor and friend. I am so fortunate to have known her and to learn from her. She made teaching fun for us all. I will miss her dearly. My condolences to her family and friends.
