Not sure what to say?

We are very sorry to learn of this. Sandra was a great person and I remember visiting her in the early 90s with my mother, Wendy Reber, and going to Yosemite Park. She also showed me a black widow spider. :) Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and we celebrate her wonderful life! ~Shelah (Reber) Joner

I am so saddened by Sandy's death. She was my best friend at Union Seminary and a bridesmaid in my wedding. She made some clothes for me and taught me how to sew, giving me years of pleasure and productivity making clothes for myself and my children and neckties for my husband, father, and brothers. She and I stayed in touch through the years and visited when we could, even living on two coasts. I loved Sandy's playfulness and laughter. I loved her commitment to social justice. I loved her...

Best to all Sandy's family-those by marriage, birth, and extended. Also, all of those whom Sandy made part of her family just by all the community involvement she made her life. She made a difference wherever she was. Those who sang with her, worked with her, and dreamed with her will remember her contributions and a life well lived. You are missed Sandy.

I remember Sandy from my son Zack's time at MJC child care. She was a wonderful teacher and a lovely person. Both my son and I learned from and grew through Sandy. She was very knowledgeable about early childhood development. As the saying goes; there are two types of people - the givers and the takers. Sandy Sample was a giver. Condolences to her family and I have no doubt she is resting in peace.
