Not sure what to say?

I met Sandy years ago when I was the yearbook representative at Colonia HS. She has been on my birthday card list ever since, and each year I sent a card. Today I received her card back as undeliverable/vacant, so I went on line to find this sad news of her passing. She was just as the obituary said. It was an honor to know her.

To Connie and family I just found out of Sandy´s passing through the ROCK magazine. We were roommates freshman and sophomore more years. After college we didn´t see each other with her moving to Jersey. We have communicated the past few years because of classmate deaths and when she had shingles but lost touch again. So sorry for your loss. She was a great person and know she touched many lives. I did communicate to a few of our classmates all were very sorry to hear that. God bless all of...

Ms. Schmidtke was simply extraordinary! She was a blessing to the entire Evanko family over the years. She will always be remembered for her forthrightness and integrity. Direct and to the point. May God bless her. The Evanko's wanted to thank her for everything she has done. She will be missed by all.

May the students and staff remember the positive memories with Ms. Schmidtke. As a vice-principal, she worked well with the child study team to help children.

So many ways Sandy touched my life in high school and many years after. I am honored and blessed to have had her as a teacher, and friend. One of the kindest souls

One of the rare people in this world who truly cared for others. Always a dear friend through many years well after high school. You will be lovingly remembered and always missed.
