She was brilliant, personable, and not self absorbed despite her great success and achievements in the legal profession, simply stated, an inspiration.

I can´t believe it. Ema was one of a kind. I am so lucky to have the Newmans as my second family and I couldn´t ask for a better chosen grandmother. Madame Justice Newman was a wonderful mentor to me during our overlapping time at Cozen O'Connor. Our politics were not the same, but it didn't matter: she wanted to help me become a better lawyer. May her memory be for a blessing.
