Not sure what to say?

A Christmas card brought the news of Sandra's death, and Wayne and I are so very sad. We were members of Westminster church while our kids were young, and we and several other couples had SO many fun, and meaningful times together at church and each other's homes. We sang together in our little small choir. Sandra and Larry were instrumental in our faith journey. Big hugs to you, Larry. With great affection, Marj and Wayne.

to sandys family
sandy was a teacher of mine at UF and a friend - she was to me the best teacher in college of nursing she was real, she was not only our instructor BUT a working arnp , she was so smart so funny so REAL and she taught me about real useful nursing " stuff " she helped me believe in me
she had a gift for teaching and nursing and a kindness all mixed with fun
she was all heart and fun and a smile that would say it all . always there for her students and pts and oh...

We send our love, sympathy and prayers to all of Sandra's family.
Steve & Mary Seymour

Sandra is the matriarch of nurse practitioners that attended UF. She instilled her wisdom and compassion in me and I have used this in my practice repeatedly. Not only was she an exceptional mentor and teacher, she was my friend and colleague. I will miss her. May God bless you, her family, in this time of loss.

Our main memories of Sandy are connected to both she and Amy, her amazing daughter. Amy's strength and compassion are much like her mom's and we hope these virtues will help the healing. Love.

I had the honor of having Sandy as one of my instructors for my post grad ARNP. She was an excellent teacher and was always there if needed. She will be missed. Roz Slevin ARNP-C; class of 1996-97

What a loss for this community and the nursing community in particular. Sandy was someone that once you met her, could never be forgotten. I will never forget her T-shirt..."They are not hot flashes; they are power surges!"
Rest in Peace, Beautiful Lady.
Suzanne Ray, MSN, ARNP

Larry, It has been way too long between visits but memories of SCUBA diving with the two of you, your wedding, church retreats, and others are vivid and cherished. Amy, You were too young to remember when we visited; but I loved keeping up with your progress via Christmas letters.

Both of you are in my prayers today and for the year ahead as your hearts recover from the loss of Sandra. The peace of Christ be with you.

Sandra has touched so many lives with love and compassion. I was privileged to know her as a friend and colleague. She will surely be missed. Go with God!
