Sandra L. Sherman

I had the greatest respect for Sandy as a writer, leader and a person committed to birds. I will miss her support. She was friendly to me when I first came to work at Hawk Mountain and continued to be a source of advice and info for me over the years. We last spoke about her job hunt when her work at the Academy ended and I lobbied on her behalf to edit the new Breeding Bird Atlas when her job ended at the Academy. (In vain, unfortunately).
