Sandra Spivey

Dear Cousin Danny, My heart is saddened to hear about Sandy's passing. I knew of your great love for her through Sara and by witnessing the two of you together. She will be greatly missed. I wish you God's comfort and peace.

Sandy and I go back to 1954 when I started to Jerome Jones Elementary School, Atlanta, in October of that year. We were both in the 7th grade and became immediate friends. She was a great "little" (under 5 feet) basketball player and I was a clumsy non-basketball player. We remained friends throughout high school at Roosevelt High in Atlanta. After we were both married and the children came, (my oldest son being just a few months older than Todd and my daughter being just a few months...

Sandra was a very good team player when we were in the same group at AT&T in the late 80's. I remember if something made her laugh, she really knew how to enjoy the humor. I was glad to have worked with her.

Sandra was one of by best and dearest friends. We shared many lunches together while working together at AT&T, I had just talked to Sandra about 3 weeks ago and we had a great time catching up on everything, husbands, kids and grandkids. She loved all of her family very much and I know you as well as I are going to miss her.
