Not sure what to say?

Doug and Lauren - I just learned of Sandy´s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. She was also so kind and welcoming to me when we were your neighbors in Bellingham. I am sending you both love and peace during the holiday season and always. May her memory be a blessing

Doug and Lauren, I am so sorry to learn of Sandy's passing. She was always so loving and caring and so much fun to be around. I feel blessed to have known her. She will be missed by many. Janet

Sandy was always exuded and touched my heart with love, smiles and passion whenever I was with her. Thank you Sandy for always making my smile bigger.

Doug, I just heard of Sandy´s passing. I am so sorry. I am sorry too to have missed her service. You and Sandy were such a dynamic team and you both were always so gracious and warm in your interactions with others - whether out on one of the local hiking trails or at a Rotary gathering. My prayers and thoughts go out to you, Lauren, and your family. In friendship - Char and Chris Hart

Doug and Lauren, I am heartbroken to hear of Sandy's passing. She was one of those rare people who make everything and everyone better just by being there. My prayers go out for you and we'll look forward to seeing her in Heaven.

I am so sorry to learn about Sandy's passing. WE had wonderful times on our trips together. She was a rare combination of joy, grace, and determination to make Lauren a strong woman. Brain cancer is a cruel adversary. I wish for her what I have wished for Benjamin -- eternal peace.

How would I describe Sandy? Kind, happy, generous, active, loyal, hard working, and fun. What is the first thing I think of when I remember Sandy? Her smile. We became friends when our children went to pre-school together and remained friends even after our family moved to Florida in 2002. We would always get together when we were visiting Washington or when travel brought them to Florida. I will miss Sandy's positive spirit. There will always be a special place in my heart for Sandy. Sending...
