Not sure what to say?

Sandra was my first friend who happened to be a girl. Many times we´d walk to Mater Dei. She came from a family of three girls. I, from three boys. Each of us was the oldest. She was very much my sister. All I can say is Sandra was the bravest woman I´ve ever met. She took each challenge head on. She was my hero.

Sandra was a great influence in working on HIV/AIDS in Africa. Did an amazing job of helping design a HIV/AIDS manual and making it available across Africa.

Sandra was my dear girl friend. Operative word is friend. I think of her often. How giving she and brave she was.

I don't know what to say! There are so many stories. Sandra was my aunt (married to my mother's brother). I will always remember her as a happy person. I will miss her laugh. She dedicated her life helping people and was happy doing it. I wish I can accomplish a fraction of what she has. I loved her and she will be deeply missed. I also agree with Uncle Bob that this picture of Sandra says 1000 words.

Dear Bob, it was a pleasure reconnecting with you in the past few years through the Minneapolis crew. I have vivid memories of your wedding and the ongoing spirit and commitment both of you had for health care and justice. Kindest blessings and thoughts to your, Lynn and Mark at this time.

Hello Bob,

It's been years and years since we've seen you, but I always thought of Sandra as a real rock, someone who continued to care about and serve the world as I did, someone I knew was there, even if far away. Now you will have to play that role yourself, by yourself. I'm learning myself how very difficult this is. I wish you strength and creativity in the months ahead!

Dear Bob, Lyn & Mark,

My deepest condolence to all of you, on the passing away of Sandra. She is such a beautiful person, inside & out & will be greatly missed.

May God be with you through your time of grief!

With love & prayers,

A great friend and colleague, Sandra will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
