Not sure what to say?

Sandy and I met when we were in 4th grade and although our lives took different paths, we kept in touch for all the years.
. . . from the days of our CLUB that met after school at her house; comparing our report cards to see who "won"; singing with Numa at SHS; soloist at my wedding; getting together as new mothers with our babies; letters; luncheons to "catch up" and her valiant fight to live.

She was one classy lady. I miss her, but it was time to let her go. Nothing...

Although I haven't seen Sandy in many years, we have written a few notes to each other recently. Sandy was a high school friend and always good fun. I admired her courage and optimism through her long illness. She will be missed.

My treasured friend has passed away
And I will miss her so
I know that time will ease the pain
But waiting seems so slow
I do thank God for memories
So many that we shared
For all the laughs and rough times too
I had a friend who cared.

Friend, counselor, helper in all ways: You are, and always will be missed.

"The Lord be with you"

I am so saddened to hear of Sandy's passing. It seems like yesterday that we were sharing thoughts of days gone by at the hospital. Our comfort is that she is in peace. She was wonderful mentor and friend.

I was so sorry to learn of Sandy's death. She meant so much to me as my mentor and dear friend from the Hospital. I will always remember our good times and great advice. She was truly a wonderful woman!

I am honored to have known Sandy. She was a wonderful and caring person who will be missed by all. She was a very gracious lady who had a way of making people feel special. I will remember her fondly.

As sorry as I was to hear that Sandy passed away, my only comfort is knowing she is a peace and with Jesus. She fought a long and hard battle. Her faith and courage is to be admired.
