Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to hear about Coach Yow. I don't know her personal but I have been hearing that she was a great Coach at NC State. I my prayers are with her family and at NC State. I know that she will be miss very much.

Thank you Coach Yow for being an inspiration to people, like myself, who suffer from a long-term critical illness.

I was especially awestruck by your ability to continue working as long as you were able to do so with an immeasurable level of grace. You chose LIFE and you LIVED IT!

There are so many days when I feel like laying down and surrendering myself to my own incurable medical condition. On these days, I recall impressionable memories from my years at NCSU. ...

What a great witness for our Lord and Saviour! I watched the funeral service on TV and was truly blessed by her words of encouragement and the songs that were sung. It was a beautiful service. May God Bless and Keep all Her Family and Friends in HIS Loving Hands.

I do no know Kay Yow, but I believe in giving honor to whom honor is due. She gave her all for her team, and she gave her all for the Lord ! Barbara Foster, Thomasville, N.C.

Rest In Peace Kay. I have enjoyed watching you Coach at NC State over the years. Its been a inspiration knowing that you have endured the battle with Cancer for so long. You will be missed. So on behalf of the entire James' family we extend our sincere and heartfelt sympathy to your entire family.
Very Respectfully,

Paul A. James
SKC(SW) USN, Ret.

Coach Yow was such an inspiration to all of us. Her words of wisdom have helped me through the struggle of my mother-in-law's breast cancer and her passing yesterday. I know that she and Coach Yow are together in heaven praising in their new location with no more pain. May God bless them and all those left behind.

I never met Coach Yow, but I folowed her career through the media. She was an inspiration to us all.

Coach - You have always been and will always be my true hero. I have battled my breast cancer 3 times as well and am a member of the Wolfpack family. Your kindness and determination keep me fighting every day. Thank you for helping me to still be winning my battle. Someday I will be in "the best location" with you and I look forward to our talks then.

After having lost a sister to breast cancer, we are aware of the physical struggle that Kay must have endured. Now her pain is behind her and peace and joy will be forever. We are NCSU fans and definitely Kay Yow fans. We wish the best to her family and extended family. God bless her.
