Read MoreWhen my brother needed a place to weigh himself and his power chair, we went to the hospital and there we met Sandy in 2003. Even though we spent just a short while with her she took the time to help my brother. Even though he could not talk [ALS], she spoke to him and treated him with courtesy and respect. As his sister and caregiver, I want to extend my condolences to the family of this exceptional lady.
