I really wanted to attend the memorial for Sandy, in support of my family. I hope everyone knows that I love them very much and will miss my cousin, Sandy. I will never forget years ago, visiting her for a week and going to work with her while she was working on the eye laser. She was very willing and open to share and develop others. (I also remember trying some beer she gave me when I was around 12 yrs old! :o)

Am sorry that I was unable to attend her memorial. Sandy was one of the most memorable bosses that I've ever had -- kind, friendly, funny -- and I learned a lot from her. She will be missed.
