Not sure what to say?

Mr. Knoller tried to expose us to all genres of music.
I still have appreciation for everything from opera to rock to pop to blues etc because of the variety he chose to teach. fondly remembering the man, the teacher and the music programs we participated in during those formative years. My sincere condolences to his family.

My brother Glenn and I have very fond memories of Mr. Knoller from Grade school, where Glenn learned to play the sax and I learned the flute. Our prayers to your family and hope that you may find comfort in knowing how much your father/grandfather/great grandfather influenced so many lives. God Bless you all and thank you Mr. Knoller for everything!

Mr Knoller taught me how to play trumpet and I am grateful for his patience to teach. He taught us to enjoy music. I always wanted to say thank you> I tried a few years ago to let him know he will always be remembered by me. We can all still sing every song we learned and I smile when one of the songs pops in my head ! Always will have fond memories of a great man . Class of 70

Dear Lincoln School to thee we sing our praises, to thy great flag that towers toward the sky, "We all know those words he inscribed in our memories, "Thanks for all the memories"

He was my music teacher in the 1960s in Garwood, I would late become a teacher almost as good as he for the next 30 yrs. Meet you a bit further up the road Mr Knoller.

Sincere sympathy from Deborah Greene. Mr. Knoller was a great Music Teacher.

He was a great teacher and taught me how to listen and understand good music. He was patient too, I never could learn how to play saxaphone but he kept trying. I'll always remember his class. My condolences.

Mr. Knoller was a wonderful teacher and such a kind man. I especially remember learning about the classics and the songs of Stephen Foster (still think of Mr. Knoller when I hear them). I was in his class in '75 & '76 and in the chorus as well. My dad was a musician also & I remember when my parents went to Back to School night, they said they enjoyed meeting Mr. Knoller so much because he and my dad knew a lot of the same people & they had a nice conversation with him. God Bless you -...

Mr. Knoller was a fun and wonderful teacher and I have some fond memories of his fun music class (67). Although I did not play it very long I still have my saxophone because he told me you never know when you might want to learn to play again years down the road. May God Bless your family in this trying time but let the cherished memories you have of him help you through them....
