Not sure what to say?

Dear LaBorde family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you. T holds a special place in my memory. I remember his as fun-loving

Sarah and Donald,

As others have said, growing up together back in the 40s provided some of my greatest childhood memories. We were very blessed to have neighbors like your family and everyone who lived in that area. Your dad even built a roller coaster for all the neighborhood kids.

We are saddened to learn of "T"s passing and hope you know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

AS A FRIEND AND SCHOOL CHUM SINCE 5TH GRADE, SANFORD, AS WE CALLED HIM, WAS SUCH A NICE GUY. AT CLASS REUNIONS HE LIKED TO SAY, "DIDN'T YOU USED TO MY GIRL FRIEND IN GRADE SCHOOL?" I REMEMBER HIS OBSESSION WITH CARS AND ONCE ON A DATE HAD ME DRIVING WHILE HE RODE ATOP THE HOOD TO SEE HOW SLOWLY WE COULD ACCELERATE BEFORE THE ENGINE DIED." HE WAS A WHIZ AT MECHANICS AND ALL OUR CLASSMATES ADMIRED HIM
MY CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY. SUE NELL HARTLEY PATTERSON

Dear Sarah & Don,

My condolences on your loss of Sam. Some of my fond memories from growing up in our neighborhood include times with your family. Any time I have homemade ice cream I think of hand-cranking the LaBordes’ ice cream maker and enjoying the time spent together.

All of your family is in my prayers.

Ann:

So sorry to learn of Tee-T's passing. You are in my prayers.
