Santo Gagliostro

GAGLIOSTRO � Santo "Sal", 68, of Clifton on June 6, 2011. Born in Palmi, Provincia Reggio, Calabria, Italy, Mr. Gagliostro came to the United States in 1962, settling in Passaic before moving to Clifton where he has lived for the past fifty years. He had been the owner of Pizazz Hair Studio on Broad Street in Clifton for the last twenty years. Previously he owned Sal's Coiffures in Saddle Brook for twenty-five years. Mr. Gagliostro was predeceased by a brother, Pasquale Gagliostro and his wife, Josephine. He was also predeceased by his sisters, Fortunata Fidele and Carmela Colosi. He is survived by his wife, Diane J. (nee Devlin) Gagliostro of Clifton; his daughter, Angela Soder and her husband, George, of West Caldwell; his sons: Dominick Gagliostro and his wife, Rose, of Verona and Antonio Gagliostro and his wife, Sabrina, of Wayne; step-daughters Deborah Cubano and her spouse, Aida, of Clifton and Charlene Prall and her husband, Robert, of Little Falls; former spouse Francesca Gagliostro, of Woodland Park; brothers Rocco Gagliostro of Clifton and Anthony Gagliostro of Italy; his sister, Concetta Zapponi of Italy; eight grandchildren: Victoria, Olivia, Matthew, Jayson, Jianna, Abigail, Nathaniel and Noah; and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday 9:15 am from the Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton and 10:00 am at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 300 Clifton Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visiting Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
