Angelus Funeral Home - San Antonio Obituary

Santos H. Ramos passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 84. A loving and devoted husband for sixty-four years, he is survived by his wife, Mary De Socorro Rangel Ramos. Proud father of Mary Cecilia Ramos Luera (Jesse), Mary Guadalupe Pachecano (John), Santos Mateo Ramos, Jr. (Virginia), Julian Simon Ramos and Santos Miguel Ramos (Jaclyn). Superb grandpa to Allegra Ramos, Santos Ramos III, Jessica Luera, Matthew Luera, Santos Raul Ramos, Santos Guillermo Ramos, and Xiomara Rose Ramos. 


Preceded in death by his mother Petra Hernandez, father Mateo Ramos and four brothers: Ramon, Angel, Prudencio and Isaac Alfredo. 


Santos was the owner of Santos Nursery on New Laredo Hwy. He was passionate about plants and worked hard as the owner and manager of his business for over sixty years. He was a devout Catholic. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He cared for and fed every animal that came onto his property. He will be deeply missed by his family, parish and customers.


Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday, January 3rd at 5:00 P.M, the Rosary will begin at 7:00 P.M. at Angelus Funeral Home.  Visitation will resume at the Angelus Chapel on Thursday, January 4th from 10:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. All are welcome to attend the Funeral Mass at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph-South San Catholic Church located at 535 New Laredo Hwy. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery # 2, all are welcome to attend.
