Sara Walton Andrews

I knew Sara for a short spell in Michigan. I was giving her a ride home from the airport after a trip she made to the southwest. It took us a while to exit DTW because Air Force 2 was prepping for takeoff and no one was allowed in or out. So we sat in the dark and chain smoked while Sara shared the many adventures she had on her trip. She was a one of a kind person who showed me so much culture, art and music in our teen years , lost touch since the late 80's , and I always wondered where she journeyed .Fare well Sara, I will listen to The Cocteau Twins Head over Heals album tonight and think of an incense scented barn loft in Sullivan Maine , Summer of 1988 is one of my favorite memories of all time.

Sara was such an important part of making the adult learning at Dartmouth a great experience. We are very grateful that she worked with us and miss her.
