When I retired, Sara Jane took me into her sewing room. We went through all the fabrics she used to dress dolls for charity. We shared her memories about the fabric which she generously donated to me forming the basis for my guilting adventure. Sara Jane shared more with me...her faith in God which led me to more than quilting. We will miss your lovely spirit of fellowship.

During my college years I went on a road trip with Hilary and Ms. Ball. Sara Jane drove us in her LeBaron and let us play our music in the car all the way to Epcot, which I now know must have been a challenge! It was a great trip she was very kind to me. It says alot about her and lifelong friendships that we met her old college friend and went to dinner with a big family group. My condolences to Hilary, Rebecca and family. It's been a tough year. I am sure I am not the only one with many...

Rebecca and Hillary, I´m so sorry to learn about your sweet Mama and Daddy. My Mama and Daddy loved y´all´s parents so much. Your Mama had the best laugh! I´m thankful that Mama got to visit with your Mama and Jean Condrey after my Daddy passed in 2016. Mama passed in 2022. I know that loosing your parents is so hard. I find peace in knowing that they are whole again. Just wanted y´all to know that yall are in my heart thoughts and prayers. Cindy Graham Barrow

Sara Jane Ball! Such an exuberant, passionate, Jesus-loving force of nature! We did Sunday school, children´s chapel and VBS together for many years and she was my favorite! It gives me such joy to think of how she now knows the impact of all of the seeds she sowed through the years into the hearts of little people, that they would grow into the same knowledge and love of Jesus that she had. She was indefatigable in her zeal to make Him real to them, and she was just so much fun.... I...

She was one of my favorite people. I met her my first day at Southern Living and she immediately took me out to be in one of her photo shoots. Always genuine and happy.

Sara Jane was so easy to love. She had such passion in everything she did. I knew her as a neighbor as well as a fellow Sunday School teacher at Church of the Advent. I can just picture her with her hands in the air, a big smile on her face, singing songs with gusto in Children´s Chapel. She truly loved the Lord and the children could feel her genuine faith. What a fine lady whose company I was privileged to be in during her well-lived life. I´ll meet you on the other side, Sara Jane.
