My mother definitely had spunk, a sense of humor and loved cooking for family. There wasn't a time she wasn't making a batch of tacos for long trips or just for visits. She was taking way to soon and will be deeply missed. I'm happy she gave me the last 10+ years to be able live life and experience things I might have never been able to.
