Not sure what to say?

Sara, wonderful student, you glowed whenever you learned something, and sometimes laughed out loud. Your teachers still miss you.

So many great memories. Thank you Sara for giving me Gregor the cat. Years go bye too fast.

Oh dear Sara, I am so sorry that i did not keep in touch with you through the years! I am so sad that you are not here with us anymore. I met you at Interlochen Music Camp in 1976. We were in Oklahoma together and in our musical theatre class. We spent hours in the same group of kids, laughing and trying to out schtik each other. We always played off each other. We would sing in the Quad with Jimmy Kichler, Robi Resnic,Wendy Horiwitz. One time we laughed and laughed until you broke down an...

Wesleyan friends, West 38th Street, New York, September 1, 2010.

It was the first week of Freshman year at Wesleyan. There was a socializing event on my dorm hall, and I was keeping pretty much to myself. And there she was, alone, sitting in a chair, dressed all in purple - purple pants, a matching purple blouse, and a purple kerchief covering her head. I went up to her and said, "You're all dressed in purple! Hi, my name is David." And that's how our friendship started. Sara and I were close at Wesleyan, kindred spirits, feeling we were a little outside...

Sara's teacher remembers preeminently her smile which was of the kind that always included everybody. I am sad to have outlived her, but to those many friends and family who have had the same misfortune I can send happy memories.

Goodbye Sara. I remember drinking coffee and talking way into the night many times and you were one of the most unique and interesting people I knew at St. Ann’s. You were a sensitive, artistic and highly individualistic girl, and left us way too soon.

This is so sad. I remember Sara very well from St. Ann's. We used to have long, interesting conversations and she was always so graceful and intelligent. A life cut way too short. Condolences to her family.

What a brilliant actress she was back at St. Ann's - probably the best we had back then. She was also the sweetest and most genuine person. I am so sorry to hear about this. My heart goes out to Paul and the rest of her family.

I am stunned to learn of Sara's death. You were my best friend for years at Interlochen and I am deeply sad that you are gone. I will never forget you--your talent, your sense of humor, your creativity. All my love. Karen Appel Oshman (Houston, TX)
