Not sure what to say?

Dear Becky, Tray, Cindy and Pam,

I recall memory after memory of all the many years we grew up together. Aunt Kitty was always so sweet and such a Godly lady. Both Aunt Kitty and Uncle David were incredible people and gave so much of themselves to their family and extended families. They were both so very good to me and my family. It is hard to see all the years that have gone by and how many loved ones we have all lost. Thankfully, this is not where it ends and we will see...

David, Becky, Pam, and Cindy...our deepest sympathy to you and your families. I'm deeply sorry for your loss. Aunt Kitty and Uncle David were always special to me and trteated me with much love and affection. I will always cherish the "growing-up" years where we were all together at Mount Olive Church together. I miss the family closeness we all had in those days where everyone made sure they had time for each other...Aunt Kitty and Uncle David were leaders in that endeavor. From my family to...

My first view of Kitty is when I rotated through my OR rotation in 1963 at St.Luke's Hospital . She was sitting at the head of a patient on the OR table and very pregnant. That was my first view and impression that nurses could be what they wanted to be in nursing. She was not a direct mentor, but she was a mentor. She encouraged me, humored me and could tell me off in a loving way. To me she was the SLH Alumnae association. It is because of her that I joined. It is funny, but I have...

Kitty was a special lady and I feel fortunate to have known her during my years at St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing and through the alumnae association. She was one of our most prominent advocates for nursing! She will be missed. Class of 1960, SLH

Becky, Pam, David and Cindy,
My family and I are devastated to learn of your mothers passing. She was such a dear friend and we enjoyed her humor and laughter so much. She and your Dad and my folks go a long, long way back, with my Dad being their family physician and treasured friend.
We will keep all of you in our prayers.
Lovingly, Nancy Beale Marx

I was honored to know Kitty for the six years I have been at South Jax. I feel that the best tribute to her would be for all of us to continue her favorite works: the Christian education of children, helping those less fortunate than ourselves, and continuing her passion for evangelism and bringing people to Christ as she did for so long. We will all miss her greatly and pray that the wonderful memories you hold will comfort you.

Kitty was a special lady who left a bigger mark than her small stature may have suggested. Her presence will be missed but special memories will surely live on.
With love: Steve, Julie, Casey and Karli Jo Vockell

Becky, Pam, David and Cindy,
Your mother was such a blessing to me. She was a godly mentor and true friend. She always showed me love and encouragement and I know you must be proud to call her mom. It was an honor to know her. Praying that God will comfort you in your great loss. Love, Robin Hawk
