Not sure what to say?

I had the good fortune to work with Sarah in Auburn...she was a great leader, and always fun to be around. I was so sorry to hear of her passing, and my condolences to her family.

My favorite memory was when her sister Mary and Sara visited me in San Francisco. We drank wine on the rooftop in North Beach under a harvest moon and Mary and Sara sang naughty campfire songs.

I met Sara in the late 60's when we both worked in the lab at Mercy Hospital in San Diego. We were roommates for a while during our single years and had many adventures - road trip to Guadalajara, spa days at Rancho La Puerta (Tecate), East Coast trip, softball games (OB Homegrown team), baseball games & house parties. Sara was such a fun travel buddy and best friend. After Sara met Ken and I met Bob and we moved our separate ways, we still all had fun together when we could meet for a ski...

My favorite Sara story. We were leaving after a visit with her and Kenny. Sara and I went in for a goodbye kiss on the cheek but instead touched cheeks. That became our goodbye thing. Loved it and loved Sara. She was such a great and fun person.

Sara was one of my best friends during her time in San Diego. A lovelier person never existed. She was sweet, funny, a little naughty and her absence leaves a big hole in my world. Her loving husband, Ken and her family have my deepest sympathy. They were the bulwark of her life, especially Ken, who stood with her, loved, her, and cared for until the end. RIP dear Sara.

I met Sara in January 1968 when we both started our internship at Mercy Hospital in San Diego. I was a newlywed New Jersey girl whose husband was on a Westpac cruise to Vietnam & knew no one in SD. Sara swept me up & we were often mistaken for sisters at Mercy. A better friend you never could know. My world and yours is missing her light! Thank you Ken for taking such exceptional care of our Sara.
