Not sure what to say?

Sara, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for seeing the power of creativity in others. My entire life has been haunted by people telling me I couldn´t pursue the path I dreamed of. But now, I´m finally stepping into the moment where I´ll prove them all wrong. Thank you-more than I can ever possibly express. You believed in me when no one else did, and now, at last, I believe in myself. I wish you were still here so I could tell you this in person. Your belief planted a seed...

A letter for Sara ---------- Dear Sara, Truely sadden to hear of your passing. It's hard to find the words now that I want to write for you. God must of needed you there. You've done everything here so He's called you home. Sara you will be missed deeply by all of the HEARTS you touched just by being you. You were my teacher in school, and after you were a dearest FRIEND. I enjoyed stopping at school to visit you. Also you welcomed me in your home. We would discuss writing's, play's...

Losing Sara, like losing part of our own lives and histories. At least the memories remain and there are many. I worked with Sara occasionally doing tech set up and some repairs on the sound and light systems at ZB. She was fun, safely crazy and had a big heart.

When I learned of Sara's passing it brought me back to remembering all that she had taught me. She was a super person and was very much "a head of her time". She had a compassion and understanding of her students that I believe no other teacher has ever had. I sincerely hope that she has knowledge of the wonderful gift she gave to me and other students. May she rest in peace in the Father's arms.

The world is a slightly darker place with Sara's passing.

Thank you Sara, for spreading a little light my way.

As I read the entries in this book it reminds me of just how many lives one person can touch. Sara was such an insperation to all those she came in contact with. She was the reason that many of us believed in ourselves because she believed. Without her guidence I think there are quite a few of us who would be in very different places in our lives. I don't even think she realized just what she has done for her students, co-workers and the community by giving so much of herself. Her memory...

I WORKED WITH SARA AT ZBTHS AND ALWAYS ADMIRED HER WONDERFUL SENSE OF HUMOR AND COMPLETE DEDICATION TO HER STUDENTS.
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GRADUATIONS WHEN SHE AND DAVE MAYHAK WOULD GIVE THE COMMENTARY BEFOREHAND - SARA ALWAYS REMEMBERED THE MOST WONDERFUL SITUTIONS WITH THE STUDENTS AND EVEN THE FAMILIES.
IT WAS AN HONOR TO KNOW HER AND BE ABLE TO WORK WITH HER. SHE MADE ZION BENTON A BETTER PLACE AND WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED.

Before I had even set foot in the Rotunda for the first time, Sara had already started saving for my "Nothing Book" - and my first show was when I was in the 6th grade! I always said the attention and expectation she had for me was simply for being related to an amazingly talented and gifted family that came before, but deep down I knew she sincerely cared and supported me as an individual - in every avenue I chose. I could never thank her enough for that.

I am grateful for all of...

Sara indeed had a very infectious smile and would not allow her "kids" to be down. She took things to heart always and was extremely passionate about drama and life itself. It was her as my teacher that brought me out of my fear of speeches and I will always be extremely grateful for that. She was a good friend of my dad's (Al Blim), who was a custodian there at the high school for 16 years. He told me never to be afraid to talk to her if I had a question or problem regarding speeches...
