Not sure what to say?

Even today (11 years since her passing) and (more than 30 years since she taught me), I can still see in my mind´s eye that sparkle in Mrs. Popp´s squinty peepers as she was about it to comment on someone´s romantic interests while encouraging a class to make something burn up. She was just FUN!

Sally was my good friend and coworker for so many years as was Dale. My deepest sympathy to family and Ken. Hang in there Ken, you know how I feel your loss. We will all miss her so much. That was one teacher who knew her stuff!!

For Sally Popp, lighting a candle just wouldn't do. I'd prefer infusing potassium into a mixture of ferras oxide and dropping it into a boiling beaker of H2O. She truly believed in chemistry and duly promoted it when spring fever hit NWHS every year. She was one of the funnest teachers I ever had. I was sorry that chem was only a one year course.

The next time spring fever hits, when you smell ozone in the air - think of Mrs. Popp laying the lightning across the sky.

To the families of Sally and Ken,
We are so very sorry to learn of Sally's passing. You are in our prayers for healing and peace. Sally was a wonderful lady and will be missed by many.
Sincerely, Terry & Kim Gattshall

To Sally's Family and Ken Todd. I am so sorry for the loss of Sally. We will miss here very much. We will miss our Sunday Golf dates and dinners. Sally was so much fun and a great lady. WE will miss her greatly.
Love for ever. Karen and Dick Ranney

To Sally's family and especially Ken Todd: Fred and I are so very sorry for your loss. Sally was always so much fun to be with. We are sure she is looking down on us in perfect weather with Mary, Dianne, Evelyn and Barb as they golf together in heaven.
Much Love, Sandi & Fred Geerling
