Not sure what to say?

Sara you will always be remembered for being the mother I had lost decades ago and teaching me how to can tomatoes. The fun Bobby and I had having lunch at your home. You were loved by everyone and will live in our hearts for eternity.

Friend forever. Miss you!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Sara was the kindest person, yet hard working and passionate about providing quality care to children who are victims of maltreatment. She was an inspiration to so many physicians, medical students and residents who had the pleasure to work with her. I will always be grateful to her for her advice and support during my time at MUSC.

Sallie was my inspiration to become a doctor. Naturally, I asked her to write my letter of recommendation to medical school, which she gladly did, despite a million other commitments. I feel like a little light has left this world.

Oh, my Sally! You were my everything! I can't image my life without you in it. Thank you for being my best friend, my second mother, my mentor, and sometimes, my psychiatrist! I will pray for all of you. Love, Karen and Walter Blasko. We love you!

To the family, , My deepest sympathy in the list of your dear mother. I remember her (and some of you) from her time on the Board of Trustees at Mason Prep School. She contributed greatly to it's success as a private elementary school. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We are sending our condolences. Sallie was a force of nature, and we were very lucky to have known her. We are all sharing in your loss. May you know no more sorrow and may her memory be a blessing to everyone who knew her.

Sallie was a remarkable person in so many ways and over so many years. She made a difference in every phase of her life. The world is a better place. Paul Gwyn
