Sara Shao

I remember Sara as a good friend. I was stunned when I walked into church last Sunday to learn of her death. That was a teary service We had so many happy conversations as she was taking me home to my retirement community which was near her own home. We reminisced about our youths in Michigan & Wisconsin. May the angels carry her to her rest.

Sara brightened my life every week at our church in her participation and in providing me rides home to a retirement community near her home. I was stunned to walk into church last week and learn of her death. It was so unexpected & we had had such happy conversations in reminiscing about our midwest youth, her in Michigan & I in Wisconsin. I will really miss her.

I remember Sara as an intelligent, kind person & as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. As a young child, I remember petting her pet horse, Stormy, which inspired my love for horses as well. In recent years we reconnected & shared memories of our families enjoying time spent at their log cabin on the bluffs above Lake Michigan. Sara will be greatly missed by her family & those who were lucky enough to know her. Susie Gustafson Paolicelli
