Sara Bell Singleton

Sara Bell Singleton, age 90, of Murfreesboro, passed away on March 23, 2010 at her residence. She was a native and life-long resident of Rutherford County and a nurse. Sara was preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Vennie Ann Travis; husband, John Thomas Singleton; son, Lawrence Singleton and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, John Riley Singleton of Murfreesboro; daughter, Julia Ramos of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren, Sandra Faye Singleton, Angela Michelle Singleton, Tonya Renee Singleton, Sara Faye Ramos, Michael Shane Ramos, Diana Lynn Garcia, Alfredo Ramos, Jr., and Lisa Renee Ramos; 28 great-grandchildren, Jonathan Scott Singleton, Ashley Nicole Sites, David Singleton, Thomas Lucas Gilkerson, Luther Lee Gilkerson, Jr., Ryanne Elizabeth Gilkerson, Jessica LeAnn Locklin, Skyler Lee Insixiengmai, Amisti Jae Loftis, Lawrence Isiah Loftis, Alexis KaSara Loftis, Kayla Sue Vilayvanh, Shawn Allen Vilayvanh, Titiana Echo Rochell Wilson, Erica Denise Espinoza, Paul Espinoza, Jr., Elizabeth Faye Espinoza, Sabrina Katelyn Garcia, Ashton Zachary Garcia, Travis Riley Garcia, Felicia Lynn Ramos, Amber Nicole Ramos, Alfredo Ramos III, William Seth Ramos, Kaleb Wilson Ramos, Sabin Blake Sanders, Meadow Jade Sanders and John Kanen Sanders; and five great great-grandchildren, Kaden Matthew Sites, Allie Bell Sites, America Denise Espinoza, Daniel Espinoza and Devon Espinoza. Chapel service for Sara will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Chaplin Marshall Gupton officiating. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery. Dennis Redman, Jonathan Singleton, Shawn Singleton, Skyler Insixiengmai, Alfredo Ramos, Jr., Scott Davis and Lee Gilkerson, Jr. will serve as active pall-bearers.
