Sara, it's been 4 years already, and we still miss you so much. You left a very big hole in our lives. No one could ever fill that spot. Memory after memory still fill my heart & mind. I'm so thankful for all the time I did have with you. May the amazing impact you made in all our lives continue to pour out onto others, as long as we live. Miss you dear friend.

I barely knew Sara, but was so moved by her missives on Facebook - written with such eloquence, courage and grace in the face of such horrific circumstances.
I will be forever grateful for her inspiration and know that she will live on in this way as well as through her teaching career and love given to family and friends.
