Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Sara Ward as a wonderful lady and friend. I have known her all of my life, first as a neighbor as a child and then as a role model. She and Dr. Ward are together again and I know she is smiling her sweet smile.

We could never have asked for better neighbors at Figure Eight than Sara and D.E. They both were so very kind and giving. DE shared his extensive knowledge of Purple Martins and loved working for the island church services. Sara welcomed all with whom she came in contact, greeting each one as if he or she were her best friend. The whole family is following their leadership. With love, Frannie deWitt Browne

My husband, Ed, and I always enjoyed our visits with Sara and DE after church at the beach. What a lovely couple!!! I am sorry for your loss.

Im thankful to have known Sara. Her beautiful smile and kind words were well known to all. The support she and DE gave to the church at Figure 8 Island set an example for me as pianist there and Ill always remember them. My condolences I send to their great family.

Sara and D.E. were the most delightful and loving couple, truly the best hosts ever I'll always have fond memories of wonderful times at the beach. Sending love and prayers to the family.

Rick and I were saddened to learn of Sara's death. Upon reflection, however, we had to agree that it made us so happy to picture Sara and D.E. together again. We are so grateful that we had the opportunity to know them during their Figure 8 Island days. They were truly an exceptional pair and an example to all of us. Love to all of the Ward family.

Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of such a wonderful lady. Mrs. Ward greeted everyone with a smile and will be greatly missed. My love to all of you.

Such a beautiful and true southern lady. Holding all of you in His Light.

I will always remember Mrs. Wards kindness and special glowing smile which was contagious with anyone she came in contact with .. With deepest sympathy.
