Sarah Frances Anderson (Hamilton), 79, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022, in Sioux Falls, SD surrounded by her loving and devoted family.  


Sarah was born on October 29, 1942, in the city of Wade Township, Jasper County, IL, the daughter of Isaac and Hazel (Eaton) Loving. 


 


She graduated from River Forest High School in Lake Station, IN. She was married to Ralph Hamilton and together they had four children, Tammy, Nina, Jim, and Philip. Following Ralph’s passing she was married to Lawrence Anderson. Sarah loved to cook and always enjoyed talking with anyone she met. She also enjoyed playing cards, dice and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren. Sarah will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 


Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, husbands: Ralph Hamilton and Lawrence Anderson, grandson, Michael Weber, and by 8 of her siblings. 


 


Those left to cherish Sarah’s memory are her children, Tammy (Robert) Weber of North Platte, Nina (Jeff) Jensen of Sioux Falls, SD, Jim Hamilton (Sysouda Teso) of Sioux Falls, SD, and Philip (Jodi) Hamilton of North Platte; grandchildren, Michele (Ryan) Hilderbrand of North Platte, Malerie Weber (Derek Towne) of Omaha, Ryan Jensen and girlfriend (Kristie Taylor) of Sioux Falls, Jodi (Ernesto) Interiano of Sioux Falls, Jennifer (Seth) Haper of Sioux Falls, Sam Hamilton and fiancé (Sarah Claussen) of Sioux Falls, Mitch Hamilton and girlfriend (Adrianna Heinert) of Sioux Falls, Keenan Walters and girlfriend (Danielle Conklin) of Sioux Falls, Lezlie Walters and boyfriend (Logan Kinney) of Lincoln, Alexa Hamilton (Bobby Arnold) of North Platte, Raylynn (Keaton) Clark of Pierce, Cassie Mosel of Norfolk, Hallie Hamilton of North Platte; 19 great-grandchildren, Ty, Kohen, Maleia, Madi, Mayte, Adam, Bionka, Nolan, Taylor, Ellie, Cash, Maddex, Joseph, Nikolai, Oliver, Vasiliy, Levi, Elliot, and Zoey; sister, Betty Ronk and her family. 


 


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation.  Online condolences and sharing of memories may be expressed to the family at www.carpentermemorial.com.  


 


Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with Job Vigil officiating. Burial will follow in Fort McPherson National Veterans Cemetery near Maxwell. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27th with the family receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which has been entrusted with the arrangements.

to Nina and the whole Hamilton family your mother was an awesome mother i haven't seen her for years but she could sure make a person laugh and she was a very loving person. Sarah was such a treasured friend, she made a huge impact on my life. As the first person to greet me moving to Western Heights. She welcomed me with that big smile and told me all about the fun activities to enjoy. Bingo was a huge favorite and just chatting was so much fun. Got to know all of her family and grandchildren without ever meeting them until she got sick.
