Not sure what to say?

Sarah was my A D Pi big sister at the University of Alabama. I was thrilled that she chose me. The first day of school, she helped me register and then showed me where every class was. She was always there for me, and we became friends forever. She was all the lovely things you have all said about her. God bless you, Sallie and Lee.

My deepest condolences to Herschel and all of Sarah's family. I have dear memories of her in the art room with my mother. I'm sure the two of them are breaking out the art supplies just like old times.

Mrs Bailey was so nice & kind. I am viewed as an outcast by many but Mrs Sarah treated me good

Miss Sarah was a such bright spot in our day at Fort Sanders. A great artist, teacher, and friend- so much stronger than her small frame showed. She could always find the funny side of any situation, and kept all of us laughing. A mutual friend called her a "gift" to our lives, and she certainly was for me. She loved her family so much, and my heart goes out to you all. I will think of her everytime I see a butterfly.

Herschel, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Looking at Sarah's picture reminds me of how she always had such a beautiful smile on her face and how she touched so many lives at school. A beautiful butterfly was truly a fitting symbol for such a generous, caring, spirited lady.

Sarah was a wonderful person. She always made you feel happy around her. We spent many fun and happy days in Destin, Fla. She was like a sister. I know my mother will be glad to have her in Heaven. We love you Herschel.

I have so many great memories with Aunt Sallie (Sadie to the grandkids & great nieces & nephews and ultimately us). She had such a wonderful spirit who brought me much joy & laughter. Prayers for Doc & Sallie, Lee, Kim & Killebrew. Love you all.

Doc Bailey, I am so sorry for your and your family's loss. Mrs. Bailey was a teacher that never failed to make my day better simply by seeing and speaking with her.
