Oh, my dear Sarah. How I wish you were still with us and cancer-free. Now I have ovarian cancer and you could come visit me. I treasure our time together on stage. What fun we had. I look at our photo together in matching sundresses. ESP. And I loved your wedding to Bill. What a beautiful day. Hugs sent to you in heaven.

Sarah and I were Fritzi and Melba in "70, Girls, 70" at Aurora Community Theatre in 2006. We were best friends in the show and that continued long after the show closed. She joined us for a week in Hawaii when we were offered a free home for a month when she was on her way to see Bill and Becky in Japan.
We were at her wedding to Bill and with her in spirit when he passed in March 2016. How shocking when she received a sad diagnosis that meant she would soon be joining him...

Sarah was such a great blend of godly and funloving! She had aspired to be an actress in her youth. When she was so lonely after being widowed the first time, she bravely auditioned and won roles in various community theaters, where she performed beautifully, but also, lived out her faith amongst her many new friends.

I loved the twinkle in Sarah's eyes, the spirit of fun just waiting to happen, her absolute devotion to our God, and the animated way she expressed her joy and love...
