Sarah Lee Currie

My mother (Kathryn Mullis) and Sarah were best buddies @ the Oaks. They had a lot of fun together & we called them "Thelma & Louise" because of the trouble they were always causing. She will surely be missed. Kathryn and her family wish to express their condolences to her family.

My family and I had just come to know Sarah at the Huntersville Oaks Nursing home for the past 2 years. She was a very sweet lady and spoke w/my grandmother there often. They were known for a while as "Thelma & Louise". My deepest sympathies to the family. We will miss her smile and wonderful sense of humor.

My heart is broken today to learn of this sweet ladies death. I also worked with "Lucy" as I called her for thirteen years at Glidden. She made such an impression on my life and the lives of all that knew her and loved her. She adored her family and was so very proud of you all. She often spoke of "Little Sara" and how she took care of her.

My deepest sympathy to Sarah's family. I worked with Sarah for 17 years at The Glidden Company and remember her as a very special person with a great sense of humor. I also remember how much she loved to work in her yard. She talked often about all of you and how much you meant to her.
